Lemon Cheese Cake ;)

Here is the story for everyone, who is worried about me and can't wait to see me. I along with all my Pakistani YES friends were to fly back to Pakistan on the night of 17th June, as we were going through the process of checking in with United Airlines few hours before our flight and it was my turn to check in the Computers of the Airlines crashed all over USA. The Airlines started giving us hand written boarding passes to us and we started going through security and after few of us (with hand written boarding passes) they stopped letting people with hand written boarding passes go through secuity. Those of us who were cleared from security went to the waiting room with our fellows and we waited there for our flight which was to leave at 10:15 pm till 4:28 am (yes i remember the exact time) when the flight was cancelled. We went back to the AU campus and were told to check out at 12:00 pm for our next flight. We safely boarded our flight from Dulles Airport for Kuwait, where we had a 9 hour layover. Well We got to Kuwait and said our byes to the group that was going to Karachi, Pakistan. When we started checking in, I found out that I and three other friends of mine were going home the next day on the same flight. YES, we were surprised too. But oh well the UA officials tried their best putting us on the same flight but it didn't work out. We were sent to the Kuwait Airport Hotel and food was paid for (btw the food is really expensive here). So We went to the airport again on the 20th June to catch our flight and were told that our tickets were not confirmed, United Airlines again tried very very hard to put us on the flight but didn't work out now we have confirmed seats to Islamabad for 22nd and we get there early in the morning on 23rd of June. We are being taken care of and are safe and please NO, YOU ARE GIRLS CRAP. We are strong and can take care of ourselves and DO REMEMBER US IN YOUR PRAYERS. I am so thankful to AYUSA, YES and iEARN Staff I realize that you guys did the best you could and it’s no one’s fault, each one of you made this year possible thanks a lot. And hopefully we will be with our families and friends. Life gave us a few lemons, We made Lemon Cheese Cake out of it. It sounds pretty exhausting but actually it has a positive outcome, we will get to see our family in a few days what can be better than that.
